"I know I’d like to try to land a C-9 on a carrier deck" Espen seriously, you have to make that happen! I love carrier landings it would be so cool to do it with the C-9 :P

This plane has everything.I am sure the interview only scratched the surface in terms of features.One feature I am sure Virtual Pilots would like to see in an upgrade would be a TCAS system.In 1993 after a midair collision involving a DC-9 the FAA made it mandatory in US airspace to install a TCAS system on aircraft with a 30 seat capacity.

Along with the TCAS, I know several updates came to the DC9s at NW, such as updated nav systems, autopilot and some other things. We at Delta still operate the -50, with all those modifications, although it does still have it's classic touch.
