We have not modeled wing flex. Like Simon says, the wings don't really move much like you typically see on wide bodies or newer jets.

They do flex, what makes the dc9 and MD family so beautifull in flight is the tail and the shape of the wing flexing,i don't know if it is so hard to do,but it would be much more realistic,it's something that i don't understand,of course they don't flex like an a330 or a 777,but pelase consider it.

I don't need the wings moving all the time while in the air, just the wingtip be elevated a little bit in lift off til landing, don't mean to be affected by turbulence....I m sorry for my english.

The first video of a DC-9 taking off(some they´ll say that the tip of the wings do not fold up) from that view is not easy to see,but the second part of the video wich is during flight you can apreciate it perfectly.
In the second one you can see it much better.

I see it. Subtle, but the wing flex is there alright. These old wings were built to last, to provide a stable, sturdy and reliable airplane structure, and to take the punishment of frequent cycles.

We can't implement this feature this late in the game, but I will put it on my "possible future upgrades" list. Thanks!

Love your MD-80, and can't wait to get the DC-9. As you may remember, I flew DC-9's for many years for Republic Airlines.
